A Minimum Support Price (MSP) law will be implemented, according to Rahul Gandhi, in addition to these five pledges.

With the Lok Sabha elections approaching, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sharpened his appeal to the younger generation by announcing Thursday five promises that the party will make if elected to power.
“We have counted that there are 30 lakh government vacancies,” Rahul declared while speaking at a Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra rally in Banswara, Rajasthan. Mallikarjun Kharge, the party president, was with him. Referring to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward castes, and minorities, who he claimed

made up 90% of the population, he said, “After coming to power, our first step would be recruiting the 90% for these 30 lakh government jobs.” “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and the BJP don’t fill these up.”

Second, we implemented the MGNREGA-guaranteed right to employment. In a similar vein, we will now grant every young person the right to an apprenticeship. This privilege will be available to all graduates and diploma holders. Does this sound correct? that each graduate of a college or university will receive Rs 1 lakh in addition to a year-long apprenticeship in a private enterprise or government office following their course of study,” Rahul stated. It will be supported by legislation, similar to MGNREGA, he said, adding, “This will help crores of youth across the country.”

Thirdly, the party will introduce legislation to prevent paper leaks, he stated, with a uniform framework for conducting exams. No outsourcing to private businesses will occur under this.

Fourth, he announced the countrywide implementation of the law pertaining to gig workers, which was passed by the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan last year. A number of “rights” are granted to gig workers by the Rajasthan Platform Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Act, including the ability to register with the government, access both general and particular social security programs, and the chance to voice any grievances. According to Rahul, the law is intended to safeguard gig workers’ social security.
