Darshan a Kannada actor, is being investigated for possible involvement in Renuka Swamy’s torture and death.
Kannada actor Darshan and Pavithra Gowda were arrested in the Renukaswamy murder case.
According to a recent autopsy report, the man who was allegedly assassinated and tortured by well-known Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa passed away from shock and bleeding. According to NDTV, the victim, Renuka Swamy, had fifteen wounds when he was discovered. Actor Darshan and his friends are said to have killed Swamy by beating him.
Information about the Incident
On June 9, the body of Chitradurga native Renuka Swamy was found in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru. Because of his remarks on social media regarding Thoogudeepa’s girlfriend, Pavithra Gowda, he was allegedly abducted from Chitradurga, Karnataka.
His head, belly, chest, and other areas of his body were covered in numerous cuts and marks. The autopsy revealed, according to the NDTV story, that he was carried from Chitradurga to Bengaluru, where his head crashed on a small truck parked in a shed. This car has been taken by the police.
Renuka Swamy was allegedly tortured with a rope, leather belt, and wooden logs that the authorities found. According to the police, Thoogudeepa allegedly offered each of the three men ₹5 lakh in exchange for them taking the blame for the murder. But it turned out that they were involved during questioning.
That is a horrible offense. No government intervention is possible, so Darshan Thoogudeepa must accept the consequences. Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao stated on Thursday that there is no space for that.
What has transpired thus far in the case?
A citizen of Chitradurga named Renukaswamy allegedly made a comment on the social media page of a part-time actress named Pavithra Gowda, accusing her of causing discord between the actor and his spouse. Additionally, according to police sources who spoke to PTI news agency, he tweeted insulting remarks and used “indecent language.”
Darshan, also known as “Challenging Star,” and twelve of his close friends were taken into custody on Tuesday for the murder of actor Renukaswamy, 33.
Prior to this, Renuka Swamy’s driver, Ravi, turned himself in to the police while driving her from Chitradurga to Bengaluru.
In Chitradurga city, another accused person, Raghu, also known as Raghavendra, had arranged for Ravi’s taxi and entered it. According to the report, Ravi fled after the event but later turned himself in on the suggestion of the Chitradurga cab association.
According to reports, the Kannada actor employed Raghu to compile material about Renuka Swamy. Raghu oversaw the actor’s fan club in Chitradurga. The report states that the victim’s wife claimed he was abducted close to their home.
The body was found on a road when a food delivery driver noticed it and called the police. Two cars were seen on CCTV leaving the scene after the body was disposed of, one of which was connected to Thoogudeepa.
